    Jerry Chun-Wei Lin received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 2010. He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He has published 500+ research articles in refereed journals (with 50+ IEE/ACM Journals, e.g., IEEE TKDE, IEEE TFS, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TETCI, IEEE SysJ, IEEE SensJ, IEEE IOTJ, ACM TKDD, ACM TDS, ACM TMIS, ACM TOIT, ACM TIST, ACM TOS, ACM TALLIP) and international conferences (IEEE ICDE, IEEE ICDM, PKDD, PAKDD), 16 edited books, as well as 33 patents (held and filed, 3 US patents). His research interests include data mining, soft computing, optimization, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and privacy preserving and security technologies.     Kuo-Hui Yeh (SM’16) is a full Professor with the department of Information Management, National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Information Management from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. Dr. Yeh has authored over 100 articles in refereed journals and conferences. His research interests include IoT security, Blockchain, mobile security, NFC/RFID security, authentication, digital signature, data privacy and network security. Dr. Yeh is currently an Associate/Academic Editor of the Journal of Information Security and Applications (JISA), IEEE Access, Symmetry, Security and Communication Networks (SCN), the Journal of Internet Technology (JIT), and Frontiers in Communications and Networks – Security, Privacy and Authentication, and has served as a guest editor for Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS), Cloud Computing, IEEE Access, Annals of Telecommunications, CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering (MBE), and the International Journal of Information Security (IJIS), JIT, Sensors and Cryptography.     Danilo Avola earned his Ph.D. degree in Molecular and Ultrastructural Imaging from University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy, in 2014. Since 2021 he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of Sapienza University of Rome, where he leads both the Robotics Vision and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (TITAN Lab) and the Computer Vison Laboratory (VisionLab). In addition, since 2018 he is R&D Senior Engineer at the W•SENSE s.r.l., a spin-off of Sapienza University of Rome, where he leads the Computer Vision Team (CVT), and since 2010 he provides consultation and collaboration to companies engaged in computer science, computer vision, and artificial intelligence research projects. Previously, he was postdoc researcher at the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics (DMIF), University of Udine, Udine, Italy, and R&D Senior Engineer at the Artificial Vision and Real-Time Systems Laboratory (AVIRES Lab) at the same University. Even before, he was R&D Senior Engineer and Supervisor, earlier, at the Multimodal & Multimedia Laboratory (M&M Lab) of the National Research Council, Rome, Italy, and, later, both at the Pictorial Computing Laboratory (PCL Lab) and at the Artificial Vision Laboratory (AV Lab) of Sapienza University of Rome. Among other awards and prizes, Danilo Avola received, in 2020, the Outstanding Paper Award for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII). Currently, he is Reviewer of top International Journals in Computer Vision, including Pattern Recognition, Pattern Recognition Letters, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems, and International Journal of Computer Vision; in addition, he is Associate Editor and Guest Editor of different ranked International Journals.     Graduated from University of Maryland, he has worked in IBM Corp., MCI Communications Corp., GRIC Communications, Inc., etc. in America, and got 15 American patents for invention. In 2003, he was introduced to Beijing University of Technology. At present, he has published 261 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, and got 58 Chinese patents for invention, presided over more than 30 projects as well, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, 863 project, etc.

  • Qinmin Yang:Professor, Zhejiang University, China.

    Research field:Industrial AI; renewable energy systems; smart grid.

    Graduated from the Civil Aviation University of China with bachelor's degree in 2001, the master's degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004, and the Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Rolla, USA in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, he was a senior system engineer at Caterpillar Inc. in the United States. From 2009 to 2010, he was an assistant researcher at the University of Connecticut. He has worked at Zhejiang University since 2010, during which time, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto in Canada from 2014 to 2015, and served as a visiting professor at Lehigh University in 2015. In the past five years, he has hosted more than 10 national projects, including 863 National Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Intelligent Manufacturing Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and youth projects. He has published more than 100 papers, 2 chapters of English works, obtained 1 US patent, and 11 Chinese invention patents.

  • Pooja Singh:Assistant Professor, IEEE Senior Member, SIES-Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai, India.

    Research field:Mathematical modelling, reliability, safety and security of safety critical computer-based systems.

    She has received Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University)[IIT(BHU)], a institute of national importance declared by Government of India, in the field of Mathematical Sciences (Image Processing). Her research work was under joint supervision of IIT (BHU) and BARC, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. She has a rich experience of 20 years in industry and academia. She has worked in Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and many multinational software companies. She has worked in the field of Mathematical Modeling, Software Design and Development, Reliability Engineering, Dependability Engineering, and Machine Learning. She has published several research papers in SCI journals of high impact factor like IEEE Transactions, IEEE Computer, ACM, etc. She has 1 patent in her credit. She is a reviewer of several SCI indexed journals of high impact factor. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and life member of Indian Nuclear Society. She is a Member of IEEE Industry Applications Society. She has supervised 1 PhD student from NIT Jamshedpur and currently supervising 1 PhD student from the same institute. She is honored with Life Member of Indian Nuclear Society, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Her research interests are mathematical modelling, reliability, safety and security of safety critical computer-based systems. She has collaborated with IIT Bombay, IIT(ISM), IIT(BHU), BHU, Western Norway of Applied Sciences for research activities.
